Planned Giving

Beneficiary Designations or Bequests

Designate part or all of your IRA and other retirement or bank accounts, or life insurance policies to Women of Purpose dba Women at the Well and make a meaningful gift toward helping us to cast the seeds of the gospel of Jesus Christ in a day and age when it is so desperately needed.

A bequest is one of the easiest gifts to make. With the help of an attorney, you can include language in your will or trust specifying a gift to be made to family, friends or Women at the Well as part of your estate plan, or you can make a bequest using a beneficiary designation form.

You can include a bequest to Women at the Well in you  will or revocable trust, designate Women at the Well as a full, partial or contingent beneficiary of your retirement account, or name Women at the Well as the beneficiary of your life insurance policy.  Any of these may be made in several ways

IRA Charitable Rollover

Donors 70.5 and older are eligible to make a tax-free gift to Women of Purpose dba Women at the Well directly from their IRA called a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). These gifts are tax-free, regardless of whether or not you itemize deductions on your tax return and can lower your taxable income. If you have to take a Required Minimum Distribution, QCDs are one way to reduce the tax liability.

For more information on how to process this transaction, contact your tax professional or financial advisor.
