14 Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Dear Jesus – help me to look at ALL situations as opportunities for growth. There are no negatives with You. I count it all joy. Let Your Holy Spirit fill me so full that You become my eyes, ears, mouth, heart, and touch. Lead my actions to be what You would have them be. Let me be an extension of Your grace that You freely give to me. Today – let me keep still and quiet in situations that require thoughtful responses, and not to just react out of my flesh. Let me create safety for anyone I may influence. I am created for Your glory. Make my tongue gentle today and my language soft and sweet. I will focus on the positive today. Thank You that we can come to You and get instant relief, calibrate our day, and take the rough edges off our thoughts by replacing them with gratitude. I pray for my friends who are facing really, tough health challenges, and for the family and friends who are hurting and scared for them, and for the family and friends of those who have passed; their pain is still raw. For those who are dealing with any types of challenges, I pray that Your Love falls on them today. Amen.
