These are two of my dearest friends, Charity in the middle, and Danna on the right. Years ago Danna said, “Do the right thing for the right reasons and leave the results up to God.” Oh, what a freeing statement that is!
So often we want to know the next move and it is not clear to us. If you’re like me you want a play-by-play from God. Wouldn’t that be so much easier? The truth is, we do have a play-by-play given to us embedded like precious stones, gems, and minerals in His beautiful Word. One such admonishment is found in Colossians 3:17. This is how it reads in the Living Bible Paraphrased edition; “And whatever you do or say, let it be as a representative of the Lord Jesus, and come with him into the presence of God the Father to give him your thanks.”
Leaving here, remember you go into your world as an ambassador of the King of kings! We take the heed of Scripture and listen to the synopsis of our wise buddies and sometimes that helps us figure out what to do next.
He’s sending each one of us into our homes, families, workplaces, and communities to represent Him. If you’re not sure? Ask Him, or a wise buddy. He’s supernatural that way. And because His Spirit is in you – so are you. Isn’t that lovely? Yes. It is.
